GIS Forum 2017 “Integrated Geospatial Solutions – the Future of Information Technologies”
GIS Forum 2017 "Integrated Geospatial Solutions – the Future of Information Technologies" — the event for specialists in geoinformatics, remote sensing, Big Data and information technology, which took place from 19 to 21 April. Employees of "IT-TRANSIT" participated in the Forum and made a presentation at the specialized conference.
GIS-Forum 2017 held in format outbound three-day event, in the program are:
- international conference;
- sectoral round tables;
- master classes and seminars;
- competition of the best GIS and remote sensing earth (ERS) projects;
- exhibition of technologies and technique;
- special events.
Forum has raised the issues of GIS technology and ERS data application, intellectual geoinformation systems and services economic efficiency.
Our colleagues has represented splendid report on: "Features application of spatial analysis in assessing risks at the corporate information control system of gas transportation "Gazprom" PJSC".
On the example of a specific corporate information system was demonstrated applied business-problematics of sector, approaches and methods of making.
The main application tasks include assessment of the technical state of objects GTS, management of their integrity on based methodology on risk, adoption of efficient and economically expedient operational solutions to improve the reliability of the pipeline and reasonableness of the repair measures. The GIS-functionality of the presented corporate information system was implemented on open source software technologies, which nevertheless required significant revision of existing software products and libraries.
