The research scientific work on development Main Gas Pipeline Technical State and Integrity Control System for Gazprom Transgaz Surgut LLC
Together with colleagues IT-TRANSIT LLC have successfully completed work on development Main Gas Pipeline Technical State and Integrity Control System (TSICS) has been finished successfully. Beside of the design work suite, the TSICS techniques are validated within implementation of Geo-Informational System of main Gas Pipeline of version 3.0 in terms of their work-out and implementation into Gazprom Transgaz Surgut LLC. The project was implemented under management of Gaztranait LLC.
Within this project, IT-TRANSIT worked out a complex of graphic modules on visualization and control over spatial map materials and data of geometrical sounding, flow charts, single line diagrams and 3D-models of production facilities. Furthermore, the unit of features for issue-related map generation in order to visualize results of calculations of risk analysis was developed.
The peculiarity of the GIS МТ 3.0 is its conversion of its whole functionality for web-technologies and widening of the system user community who will be able to work with the system comprehensively using standard web-browsers only.
Technologies by ESRI (ArcGIS and ArcSDE) are used as a basis process to control spatial information. This made us converse all spatial data (about 2 thousand of graphic files and more than 6 MIO facilities) into a specialized format of ArcGIS spatial data base during a short term of time.
Besides, large-scale works on conversion of nominal information from GIS MT 2.75 into GIS МТ 3.0 have been fulfilled due to application of new Classifier of GDS Facilities (more than 650 classes of technical facilities of the GDS) created by the Company on the contract with JSC Gazprom, change of metadata organization (with multiple characteristic inheritance) and increase of their scope for the tasks TSICS.
